The YouWiN Connect Application Requirements 

  • All applicants must have post-secondary school qualification.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40.
  • Applicants must be Nigerians and resident in Nigeria.
  • Applicants businesses must be domiciled in Nigeria.
  • Applicants must be able to communicate effectively – e.g: speaking and writing in English.
  • Applicants must be willing to attend all online and offline training and mentoring exercises organized by the YouWin programme.
  • Applicants must not be an employee of the Nigerian Civil Service.
  • Previous YouWiN awardees are not eligible to apply.

How YouWiN Connect Registration Process Works

The YouWIn Connect application process requires that you first apply and participate in the online classes; where you have to attend up to eight business development courses on different subjects. For you to be qualified to join this class, you must have a viable business idea in mind or have started the business in question before you can be part of the Youwin Connect Program.

After you successfully submitted your online application, the facilitators then select the most promising businesses ideas or business ventures across different sectors of the economy based on the Nigerian 6 geopolitical zones. These selected applicants are then given online business training, mentoring and seed funding – up to the tune of 10 Million Naira only!

But before you can get to this stage, you must have passed the online training and master class sessions of the programme. You would also be required to write a business plan indirectly by answering some questions related to your business before you are qualified to access the YouWIn Connect funding.

One thing to note about the YouWIn Connect initiative is that it is a Federal Government Grant, so you are not required to pay the money back to the government.
